Bahrain Signed the Children's Act

Children’s act issued today will be taken to Geneva to show it off. 46 detained & tortured kids should know of this achievement

Stunned by a loyalist Consultant who said: I was asked to teach them how to torture prisoners without killing them, I realized what you're saying

Is it possible to view the full text of the Children's Act (preferably in English)? Quoting the law alongside showing what happens in practice can be a powerful way of advocating for children.

A brief about this blog

I would like to welcome you in my modest English blog and let me start by introducing myself. My name is Lamees Dhaif, an independent writer and tv host from Bahrain. I decided to enter the world of cyber-space media after being bombarded by censorship in most of what I write. My writings are frank and my criticisms are harsh. I guess this allowed me to gain a wide audience quickly while at the same time, I gained lots of enemies. I usually get attacked in all forms of media, but I do not care because I carry a national and professional responsibility that I have to maintain.

Since the beginning of the painful events in Bahrain in February 2011, I write my analysis and my views every day on Bahraini situation. My writings vary according to the escalation of events, and I found that it is my duty now to put my articles in English for hundreds of thousands of foreigners who share this land - and often – who are usually exposed only to distorted visions of the official media as in the case of most Arab countries.

I hope that you will find in some of what I write some interest, as I hope that what I write seems particularly clear especially that English is my second language.
